Terms of Service for Albion Market Services

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Albion Market Services bot (the “Bot”), operated by Nick Konzen (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bot and any related services, including its integration with our website, albionmarket.gg (the “Services”).

By adding or using this Bot in a Discord server, or by interacting with the Bot in any way (including through our website), you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Discord Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

The Bot provides a suite of tools for the Albion Online community, including:

• User Verification: Linking Discord accounts to in-game characters via our website.
• Listings & Offers: Relaying market listings and offers between albionmarket.gg and Discord.
• Support Tickets: A system for creating and managing support tickets, which includes creating and storing transcripts of the conversation.
• Automated Moderation: Automatically filtering messages for spam, blocked words, and links.
• Blacklist: A searchable, manually-managed database of users reported for scamming or other violations.
• AI Image Processing: An opt-in feature to scan screenshots and automatically create market listings on your behalf.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Bot to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Infringe on any third-party’s intellectual property rights.
• Distribute spam, malware, or other malicious content.
• Attempt to bypass any moderation or security features.
• Provide false information for verification, blacklisting, or any other service.

4. Specific Feature Terms

4.1. AI Image Processing

• This feature is strictly opt-in. The Bot will ask for your consent before processing any of your images.
• By opting in, you grant us permission to send your images, Discord user ID, and Discord username to our self-hosted AI processing service for the sole purpose of identifying in-game items and creating market listings on your behalf.
• You can revoke this consent at any time by using the /ai preferences command.

4.2. Support Tickets

• By creating a support ticket, you acknowledge and agree that the entire content of the ticket channel, including all messages, images, and attachments, will be recorded, transcribed, and transferred to an external storage service for archival.
• This transcript will be stored indefinitely to maintain a record of support interactions but can be deleted upon request.

4.3. Blacklist & Verification

• Information submitted to the verification system (Discord ID, in-game name) and the blacklist system (in-game name, server, reason) will be stored in our database.
• This information may be made public or searchable to other users of the Bot and albionmarket.gg to promote community safety and trade verification.

5. Disclaimers

The Bot and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for any trades or transactions that result from using our Services. The blacklist feature is manually curated based on community reports, and we do not guarantee the 100% accuracy of all entries.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nick Konzen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, resulting from your use of the Bot or Services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting an announcement in our main Discord server. Your continued use of the Bot after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
